Fungia plate corals are popular, free-living large polyp stony (LPS) corals considered easy to moderate to care for. They require placement on a soft sand bed rather than rockwork, moderate and indirect water flow, moderate lighting (100–200 PAR), and occasional target feeding with meaty foods.
